Equal Education is a NGO movement of learners, parents, teachers and community members working for quality education in South Africa, through analysis and activism.
They required more than a website.They needed a platform from which to communicate with and manage their constituency. They wanted the ability to quickly update a subset of their members (for example e-mail all donors in the Northern Cape or SMS all students in grade 10).
The wanted the ability for anyone on the staff to upload photos and videos quickly for consumption on the site.
Blood Orange built the website in Drupal and back-end database in CiviCRM, then importing all contacts from the old site. Once beta testing was complete, we took it live replacing the old and outdated Joomla site.
